Five year-old Jessie loved to ride horses. She had been showing in lead line
since she was old enough to sit up on her own and riding by herself since she was
three and a half. She was the ultimate horse crazy kid, with posters and horsey
stickers, stuffed horses and every kind of horsey toy you can think of. When her
parents took her to horse shows she wanted to ride like the big kids. When the
trainers said they needed to go ride Jessie always piped in, “I need to ride too!”
and joyous laughter ensued throughout the barn.
